Marmaris to Fethiye Boat Cruise

On this Marmaris to Fethiye Boat Cruise we use gulets, which is a traditional handcrafted wooden boat equipped with masts. The most common gullets have 6 to 8 double cabins and so accommodate max.12 to 16 passengers. Unlike sails on large ocean liners, on a gulet you can travel the secluded and often deserted bays, coves and islands of the magnificent Turkish coastline. You will see a hidden Turkey, gorgeous beyond belief, and most of it completely unseen by the average tourist! During the day, there are plenty of opportunities to swim and snorkel in the clear blue waters or explore the natural and historical sites along the way. Features of a gullet include an interior salon/bar area and a fully furnished galley. All cabins have en-suite with hot and cold running water. There are 1 or 2 sundecks with comfy sun beds and a canopied aft deck with cushioned seating, freezers to keep drinks cold, and a CD/cassette player. The gulets come with facilities for outdoor and indoor dining. Also, a dinghy with outboard, a ship-to-shore radio, mobile telephone and life jackets are on board. All the boats are government approved with fully qualified captains. No experience of boats required. All you need to do is relax

    Tour Itinerary

Marmaris harbour Today guests begin to embark the boat in Marmaris Harbour at 15:30 pm. The cruise starts with an evening feast and overnight stay on board in the harbour. Historically Marmaris has been held by many cultures and is built on top of the ancient Carian city of Phyckos. Marmaris most important place of historic interest is its castle, which dates back to 1577. Other places to cover a mosque, an eight-room caravanserai (with Ottoman arches) and Asar Hill; a small hill in the north of the city that is home to early ruins. The city of Marmaris has become a well-known tourist resort, famous for its marina and nightlife.
Dalyan You will be instructed about the cruise and boat, after breakfast, before moving your way towards the Ekincik Gulf. From here you can embark on an optional tour of Dalyan. If you go on the tour, you will be taken by "pirate" (a type of small boat) to Caretta-Caretta (Turtle) Beach, where you will have a swimming break. Next you get to see the real attraction of the Delta, and ancient rock tombs, as you cruise along the river towards the mud baths. At the mud baths you can cover yourself from head to toe in mud that will leave your skin feel rejuvenated. A visit to the fishing village of Dalyan completes the tour. Once the tour is finished, you will be returned to the boat via a "piyade". The Gulf of Ekincik is where you will stay overnight and have your evening meal.
Aga limani Today we will start to cruise towards the world famous Gocek Gulf early in the morning. This is due to the rough sea conditions at Disibilmez and Kurtoglu. Breakfast will be enjoyed whilst anchored in Adali Bay. The next stop will be Manastir (Monastery) Bay, which is also known as Cleopatra or Sunken Bath Bay. You will have lunch here and can enjoy a swimming break or observe the fascinating submerged ruins of the ancient baths; hence it is referred to as Sunken Bath Bay by some people. Evening meal and overnight will spent whilst anchored in Tersane Bay. During the Byzantine and Ottoman occupations this naturally sheltered harbour served as a shipyard.
Yassica Islands In the morning, after breakfast, we will cruise to Kizil Island for a swimming break and lunch. We will arrive in Fethiye Harbour at 16:00 (approx.), where guests will disembark the boat.
