PRIENE, MILETUS AND DIDYMA
The three villages of Priene, Miletus, and Didyma make up part of Ancient Ionia, the homeland of several of the ancient world’s greatest artistic and logical minds, and each given with haunting remains. They're all within 40 km (25 miles) of each another, and if you get an early start, you can tour them all in one day, either with a car or on a PDM (Priene, Miletus, Didyma) tour with the agency. If you choose to spend a night in the area, you’ll find the most hotels in and around Didyma, where the current town has developed into a lively seaside resort, populated largely by foreigners.
