Kusadasi Guide

KUSADASI

Kusadasi long ago missed its local charm to invasive, empty buildings and overpopulation, and these days it's often overwhelmed with cruise ship passengers disembarking to make a mad rush to Ephesus. So, what was a small fishing center up until the 1970s is now a sprawling, hyperactive town crowded with curio shops and year-round residents of around 65,000, rising to about half a million in the season with the influx of tourists and Turks with holiday homes.
