The walls that are circling the old city are 1600 years old. You will be able to see how challenging the old city would have been during its prime from the remains of these great buildings as you drive crossed them.
About 8 km long, and the widest part is the entrance from the Bosphorus. It used as a dockyard for the Ottoman Navy with a capacity for the production of 300 boats at one time. The tour is by bus, and it leads to the cable car ride.
Surely a marvelous place to visit in this magnificent city. The scenes and smells alone make this a must see on any voyage to Istanbul. The Bazaar was the center for the spice business in years gone by but in current years more and more stores of other types are restoring the spice shops.
After the magnificent scenes of Golden Horn, you will board a cruise that attempts between the two continents. Region that will be seen and interpreted include one of the most valuable estate areas from times of old along the Bosphorus. Cruising by the Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden homes and estates up to the Rumeli Fortress.
