    Tour Itinerary

    Guests will be collected from their hotel in Istanbul early on the first morning. The Gallipoli campaign was the first major battle undertaken by the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC). Anzac Day, the 25th of April, remains the most significant commemoration of military casualties and veterans in Australia and New Zealand. Upon arrival in Ecebat at around midday, guests will have lunch before heading off on the tour of Gallipoli. On the tour, guests will visit important sites, including Brighton Beach, the beach cemetery. ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, the ANZAC Commemorative site, Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine, Johnson’s Jolly (trenches and tunnels of he Turkish and Allied Forces), the Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, the Nek and Chunuk Bair (New Zealand Memorial).     Guests will be collected from their hotel and head to the city of Troy for a morning tour. For many years, it was believed that Troy was only a city in tales and never really existed. Today we know Troy existed and is located near Canakkale. Walk through Troy’s ancient ruins and piece together the history of one of the world’s most legendary cities. On the tour, guests will visit the many attractions including the famous Trojan Horse, sacrificial altars, houses of Troy which date back to 2500-1300BC, the Bouleuterion (Senate building), the Odeon (concert hall) and other remains of various cities, from Troy I to Troy IX. At the end of the tour, guests will transfer to Kusadasi or Selcuk for an overnight stay.
    Guests will be collected from their hotel and will make their way to Ephesus for a full day tour. You will enter the ancient site at the Magnesia Gate and begin a slow walk downhill, being guided through the ruins if the Roman provincial capital. The tour makes its way past the amazing features of Ephesus including the Odem, the Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theatre. The theatre, which had seating for 25,000, is the site where St. Paul preached to the inhabitants of the city. The tour also includes the house of the Virgin Mary, a small house in the Solmissos Mountains recognised by the Vatican as her final resting place. Another attraction is the Temple of Artemis, known as one the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today the foundations of this marvellous construction from the Hellenistic Age remain. At the end of the tour, guests are transferred to their hotel in Kusadası or Selcuk.
    Guests are picked up from their hotel to take a 3-4 hour journey to Pamukkale. You can see phenomenal site well before you arrive in the village below. The water from these springs have a high mineral content (chalk, limestone and travertine) that cascading down the mountain, giving rise to the complexion of the mountains; resembling a frozen waterfall. The water contains a large amount of hydrogen carbonate and calcium, which results in the precipitation of calcium bi-carbonate. The combination of these elements attributes to the surreal landscape at Pamukkale as well as its place on the World Heritage list. Long before this listing, the Romans recognised the appeal of the area, building the spa city Hierapolis. At the completion of this tour, guests will travel to Fethiye to stay overnight.
    You will have a free day to explore all the wonders that Fethiye has to offer. Guests spend a second night in Fethiye
    You will have a free morning in Fethiye to continue exploring. You will then travel by bus to Kaş to stay overnight.
    You will have a much of the day to freely explore the quaint seaside town of Kaş. In the afternoon, you will travel by bus to Antalya. Guests will spend the night in Antalya.
    First you will visit Perge, the ancient city, which was once one of the most important cities along the coast. Then you will visit the world famous ancient Greco – Roman Amphitheater. Aspendos is the most well-preserved example in the world. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a lunch break. After lunch, you will visit Manavgat Waterfalls. Then you will visit Side an ancient site with attractions that include the Agora, the Gymnasium, the Apollo Temple and the ancient harbour. After visiting the site, you will be taken to Bus station. You take an overnight bus from Antalya to Goreme.
    On arrival, you will transfer to our office in Goreme. The full day South Cappadocia tour details. Guests depart for Derinkuyu’s Underground city to visit the huge refugee settlement carved by early Christians. From Derinkuyu you continue to the beautiful valley of Ihlara, the ancient Peristerema: ‘Valley of Sky’ along the Melendiz River. You will explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 4km through the valley. On the way back, the tour visits the Selime Monastery and Pigeon Valley. At the end of the tour, guests are dropped off at their hotel in Goreme.
    Guests will meet the guide and driver at the hotel, and start the tour discovering Cappadocia’s unique landscape. The first stop, a highlight of the region, is Goreme‘s Open Air Museum to witness the living art of Christian and Byzantine history in the cave churches there. You will then drive to Çavuşin, an old Greek village to discover the civil architecture in Cappadocia. Lunch is at a local restaurant in Avanos, which has been the centre of terracotta art since 2000 BC. After lunch, you travel to Pasabagi or ‘Monks Valley’ to see the fascinating mushroom-shaped pinnacles. The next stop is Devrent (Imagination Valley) to see the amazing fairy chimneys. Before being returned to your hotel, there is another stop at the natural rock castle at Uchisar. At the end of the second day tour, guests are transferred to the airport in Kayseri or Nevsehir to fly to Istanbul. Guests met when they arrived in Istanbul and taken to their hotel via service.
